- The problem
- Revision apps require a screen, two hands and quiet. Those are exactly the three things missing from an ordinary day, so the flashcards end up never being opened.
- What I built
- An app that reads flashcards aloud on a loop: the question, an adjustable pause to think, the answer, then the next card. Controlled via headphone buttons, screen off and phone in the pocket. The catalogue ships with the app and speech uses the device, so it works offline. Also includes a card editor, reverse mode, weighted shuffling for hesitant cards and a Premium subscription. Runs in the browser and on Android.
