I design and ship alone. Not for the heroics, but because at this project size coordination costs more than the work itself. One person owning architecture, interface and deployment means fewer meetings, fewer misunderstandings, and far less code written for nothing.

I have designed, developed and launched four solo products, from data model to payments and support emails. That places me by default on your side of the table: a technical choice is judged on cost, what it saves and the time it takes, not on how interesting it would be to build.

Before that, years on software that couldn't be wrong: surgical planning used in theatre, 3D tooling for film, real-time systems on market data. Environments where a mistake shows immediately and is paid for. That level of rigor never left me, and it is exactly what you buy.

How I work

One project at a time
I do not run two engagements in parallel. It makes me slower to start than an agency, and much harder to distract once launched.
Equipped by AI, not replaced by it
Claude and AI agents take the repetitive work. I keep the architecture, product choices and review: you gain speed, never complexity.
The code is yours from day one
Your repo, your hosting accounts, your data: nothing of mine in the middle, nothing to buy back if we stop.
A weekly demo
Not a progress report, a link you open. You judge by what runs, not by what you are told.
I say no when it’s no
If the project is not worth starting, or I'm not the right person, you will hear it during the call and not three months in.

Where I learned this

Lead engineer of a medical-grade 3D platform for pre-surgical planning.

    Since 2024
  2. Founder & lead developer · Independent products

Four products designed, developed and launched solo, from data model to payments.

    Since 2022
  3. R&D software engineer · BUF Compagnie

3D tooling for BUF’s proprietary VFX suite, used on film productions.

    2019 to 2022
  4. 3D pipeline engineer · TeamTO

Reduced render times on the photoreal series Mighty Mike.

    2019
  5. Engineering intern, medical computing · Kitware

Web 3D visualization for surgical simulation; contributions to VTK and 3D Slicer.

    2016 to 2017
Technologies used

The detail, for those who care. It is not what makes the difference on a project, and I choose tools to fit the problem.
